| Inclusive Excellence (IE) is seeking a graduate assistant to support our efforts with the Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution (CAPCR). Under direct supervision, the graduate assistant will help advance the missions of both Inclusive Excellence and CAPCR through a range of administrative, programmatic, and research-related responsibilities.
Primary duties include supporting the development and implementation of CAPCR programs, assisting with event planning and promotion, completing day-to-day administrative tasks, and helping coordinate communication efforts such as drafting newsletters, creating flyers, and maintaining website or social media content. The graduate assistant will also contribute to research and reporting, including conducting literature reviews, compiling data, and drafting reports that support CAPCR’s peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and educational initiatives. This position offers meaningful experience in international studies, conflict resolution, cultural programming, and institutional collaboration. |

| Under the supervision of staff from Inclusive Excellence, the Graduate Assistant will support a wide range of administrative, communication, and educational initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and belonging at Sacramento State. Primary responsibilities include creating digital content such as social media posts and outreach materials, assisting with workshop and presentation preparation, co-facilitating educational sessions, and supporting logistical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling services, trainings, and workshops, and maintaining Inclusive Excellence webpages.
The Graduate Assistant will also contribute to research and assessment efforts, including supporting the development and implementation of the Belonging Mapping Project by conducting research, collecting and organizing data, and assisting with report preparation. This position offers practical experience in campus operations, inclusive programming, and cross-departmental collaboration.
