PARC Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader - Fall 2026

| Under the direct supervision of the Faculty Director of Supplemental Instruction (SI), SI Leaders are responsible for planning and teaching two 50-minute or 60-minute SI classes via Zoom or in-person each week based on the Kansas City SI Model. SI Leaders must have passed the course they wish to be an SI Leader for and must be willing to partner with a faculty member to provide SI for their course. SI Leaders must be in frequent communication with the faculty member they are providing support for. SI Leaders must attend all class lectures, recruit students from the GE course to enroll in SI, maintain student performance data, submit weekly lesson plans, conduct and undergo peer-observations/observations from SI Leads or the Faculty Director, attend weekly trainings, and host office hours throughout the week.

| This is a position under the Federal Work Study (FWS) Program. Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible and will need to submit proof of eligibility.

PARC Tutor - Residence Halls - Fall 2026

| Under the direct supervision of Faculty Director at the PARC, the tutor's duties are preparing a tutorial plan, teaching study skills and reinforcing successful study habits, consulting weekly with Faculty Directors, maintaining a bi-monthly journal, completing a monthly report regarding tutoring sessions, and recruiting students for tutoring services. The tutor also must be able to attend all required meetings and tutorial training sessions and to participate in at least two PARC sponsored events. Tutors must also provide tutoring to students that seek services in-person or online via Zoom. Tutors may also be asked to provide workshops across campus to the campus community and table at resource fairs/campus events to represent PARC.
